Today's Taurus reading
On Friday, October 23, 2026, this page shows a Western tropical sun-sign note for Taurus. Tropical astrology is the sun-sign calendar most daily horoscope apps use. Taurus covers Apr 20 – May 20 on this site. It is a fixed earth sign (steady and hard to push off course) ruled by Venus. Today's focus is creativity.
Taurus follows Aries in the tropical calendar. It sits in the middle of spring in the northern hemisphere. This site lists Venus as the ruler. Fixed earth means food, craft, money you can touch, and people who keep their word. Popular daily notes talk about patience, loyalty, and changing course only after trust is in place.
Taurus is the first fixed sign of the tropical year. The date band on this site is Apr 20 – May 20. A daily Taurus note often lands on the body and the budget. What already works? What needs one repair? Which promise is worth keeping at a slow, solid pace?

audacious
Taurus is an earth sign. Earth here means the body, the senses, and things that feel solid. It is a fixed sign. Fixed means steady and hard to push. Venus is listed as the ruler. Venus is the planet linked to beauty and love. Many people say Taurus folks are patient, loyal, and good at building things that last. Good food, honest work, and people who keep their word matter a lot.
Change can feel scary until trust is built. That same stubborn streak may protect what you care about when life moves too fast. This is not laziness. It is more like soil that needs time before anything grows. If this sounds like you, notice where your steadiness helps. Notice where a little flexibility might open a door.
