Today's Scorpio reading
On Friday, October 23, 2026, this page shows a Western tropical sun-sign note for Scorpio. Tropical astrology is the sun-sign calendar most daily horoscope apps use. Scorpio covers Oct 23 – Nov 21 on this site. It is a fixed water sign (steady and hard to push off course) ruled by Pluto. Today's focus is body & energy.
Scorpio sits in mid-autumn on the tropical calendar. It is a fixed water sign. This site lists Pluto as the modern ruler. Older Western texts use Mars. Fixed water means feel fully, share on purpose, and stay with a story until the honest layer shows. Popular daily notes talk about trust, renewal, and loyalty that does not stay on the surface.
Scorpio season holds the middle of autumn after Libra's equinox. The date band on this site is Oct 23 – Nov 21. A daily Scorpio note often asks for one honest conversation or one private repair. That work can look small on a calendar. It can feel large in the room.

focused
Scorpio is a fixed water sign. That means deep feeling that does not shift easily. Modern Western astrology often links it to Pluto. Older texts tie it to Mars. People often read Scorpio as intense, perceptive, and unwilling to stay on the surface of a story that matters. Loyalty and emotional courage show up in many descriptions. Scorpio may feel everything, then choose what to share and when.
Power here is often about starting again after hard truth. Folk lists use the idea of rising after a loss. This sign is not doom. It is honesty under pressure. Betrayal is rarely forgotten quickly. Hold Scorpio as depth and renewal, not a prophecy of darkness.

A person born on November 5, 1990 has the Western sun sign Scorpio.
That same date is the Year of the Metal Horse in the Chinese year calendar and the Reed moon on the Celtic tree calendar. Those systems do not copy the sun sign.
