Chikchan

Chikchan is the serpent nawal of life force, kundalini, and the lightning of instinct moving through body and earth, and in Mayan archetype the serpent is healer and transformer who sheds skin, crosses thresholds, and knows without words. Those born under Chikchan are often read as magnetic, passionate, and spiritually awake because serpent energy is not tame and demands honesty and groundedness lest power scatter, while sexuality, medicine, and ritual appear in many cultural summaries as faces of the same vitality. Chikchan in the Tzolk'in is sacred timing, a mythic lens on renewal rather than a verdict on character alone, and when embodied with care it reads as transformation with spine. When denied or performed, the same intensity may coil inward until truth asks for movement again.
