Mewa (sme ba) refers to nine numbers arranged in a magic square, each with elemental and color associations in Tibetan astrological texts.
Alongside your Losar animal and element, mewa adds another layer in full Tibetan charts. Popular apps sometimes show a birth number derived from the year.
